Gourmet Gift Baskets Review & Giveaway

I love to snack. It's a downfall of mine. I love all types of snacks from chips, cookies to popcorn. So I was excited to be able to review the Snack Gift Basket-Classic from Gourmet Gift Baskets.

What's Included and My Thoughts:

· Dipping Pretzels by East Shore Specialty Foods - 6 oz. - East shore is known for their plump and salts pretzel sticks which are meant for dipping. I don't usually like pretzels so I combined these with the Raspberry Honey Mustard and they paired up perfectly.
· Raspberry Honey Mustard Pretzel Dip by Robert Rothschild Farm - 7.8 oz. - This Robert Rothschild pretzel dip is a delicious blend of juicy raspberries, clover honey and tangy mustard. Not only does it have a distinctive flavor, but it's also all natural. Kosher and gluten free. I love honey mustard but am not a big fan of raspberry flavorings so I didn't think I would like this but I did. The raspberry isn't overpowering at all and I quite enjoyed this along with the pretzels!
· Key Lime White Chocolate Chip Cookies by Brent & Sam's - 7 oz. - Made from scratch, these cookies have a crunchy style and are tangy yet sweet to the taste. The key lime flavor is perfectly balanced out by the sweetness of the white chocolate chips. I opened the package and could immediately smell them. They smelled so good and tasted equally as good! Just the right combination of tangy and sweet.
· Almond Pecan-dy Crunch by Morley Candy Makers - 9.25 oz. - This gourmet popcorn by Morley Candy Makers is renowned for being one of the best. With whole almonds and pecans, the irresistible buttery toffee evenly coats every bite. This was AMAZING! I could eat this all day long. The almonds and pecans were whole and they did not skimp on them at all.
· Salted Peanuts in Box by Feridie's - 7 oz. - Feridie's uses only the best of Virginia's peanuts, the top 2% of the crop each year. Once picked, they are roasted in pure peanut oil and salted to perfection. At first, I thought "Okay, what's so great about some peanuts?" but I could tell a difference with these. They definitely tasted better than any other peanuts I have ever had before and were larger. They were salted but not over salted.
· Petite Cheese Biscuits by Salem Baking Co. - 1.5 oz. - This beautiful tin is filled with savory, bite-sized biscuits that are baked with finely milled wheat flour and extra-sharp aged cheddar cheese. They are accented with the delicate crunch of toasted rice and a hint of cayenne and paprika. I loved these! They reminded me of the cheddar biscuits from Red Lobster but in a little petite format. YUMMY!
· Metropolitan Trail Mix by GourmetGiftBaskets.com - 4 oz. - Our metropolitan mix is all natural and contains exotic fruit like papaya and pineapples as well as raisins, cranberries and bananas. It also has whole peanuts, almonds and pepitas.  It's a natural and delicious snack! This was super yummy as well except I don't care for papaya so I just took those out.
· Buttered Peanut Crunch by Old Dominion Peanut Company - 10 oz. - These peanut squares by Old Dominion can be found in all of our snack gift basket made with a bit of brown sugar and only the freshest grade AA butter. These ingredients combined with lightly salted peanuts makes for a scrumptious and crunchy treat. These.are.heavenly! They are perfect to snack on! They are just the right combination of sweet and salty but not overly sweet or overly salty.
· Peanut Roll by Dillon Candy Co. - 3 oz. - Dillion Candy starts their roll with a fluffy nougat center which is covered by a distinct layer of caramel and is then rolled in lightly salted peanuts. This amalgam of texture and flavors makes for the most delectable of peanut rolls. I have never had a peanut roll before so this was new to me but I really liked it even though I typically don't care for nougat!
· Coconut Bar by Oskri Organics - 2.2 oz. - This bar is 100% organic made of only fresh coconut and rice syrup. It has a delicious crunch and is sure to satisfy any coconut lover; that's why you'll find it in our gourmet snack foods baskets. I personally don't care for anything coconut so I had my mother try this. She said it was super yummy if you like coconut. She likes that it had a crunch to it.

Overall, I really enjoyed sampling these items and once they are all finished, I will have a nice basket to display in my home. The cost of this basket is $59.99, which is probably more than I would pay for it but considering the top of the line items inside plus the basket, I think it would make a great gift. I would recommend this basket or any other gift basket from Gourmet Gift Baskets to anyone.
