Hasbro My Little Pony-Princess Celestia Review

Hasbro is one of the top toy companies I think of when I think of toys and in fact, is one of the largest toy makers in the world. They make so many great toys that are well made and made to last. I was recently sent a My Little Pony-Princess Celestia toy to review along with my daughter.

About Princess Celestia:

Princess Celestia is a magical and beautiful pony who rules the kingdom of Equestria. All of the ponies in Ponyville look up to her.

Help your Princess Celestia pony figure rule her kingdom! This beautiful, electronic pony figure has all kinds of things to say to you, like “I will light the way!” and “Let’s fly to the castle!” When you two are ready to “soar,” press the button to make her wings light up and move. Comb your princess friend’s pretty purple and pink ringlets and put in her barrettes to help her majesty always look her best and rule with justice and beauty!

Pony figure comes with crown, necklace, 4 barrettes and comb. Includes 2 “AA” batteries.

Ages 3 and up

Our Thoughts:
My daughter couldn't wait for me to get this opened for her to play with it. I really like the size of this pony. It's much larger than the regular My Little Pony toys. My daughter has always loved the My Little Pony line of toys so I knew this would be a perfect fit. I was right. She LOVED this. Due to my daughters PDD-NOS, she really likes toys that make noise or "talk". She was thrilled that with a press of a button, it "talks" to her and the wings light up. Since it comes with a comb and 4 barrettes, she loves combing and decorating it's hair. She pretends that Princess Celestia is the Princess of the land and tells her other ponies what to do. It's cute to watch her use her imagination with this toy. I cannot see anything negative about this toy at all and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this again for a gift. Overall, it's a great toy at a reasonable price point, that makes children use their imagination while playing.

Where to Buy:
You can purchase this at Hasbro and other online retailers that sell toys. You can also purchase this at Wal-Mart stores.

Price:
The cost is pretty reasonable at about $20.00.

Disclosure: I received a complementary sample of the Princess Celestia toy from Hasbro for review purposes. No other compensation was provided. All opinions were honest and my own.
