Knot Genie Detangler Brush Review & Giveaway

There is one part of the day that both my daughter and I don't look forward to at all. The brushing of her hair after her bath! It's ALWAYS a big time fight because she says it hurts and I end up yanking out big clumps of her hair in order to get it brushed. She has PDD-NOS so even the slightest amount of pulling or tugging on her hair, upsets her a lot. I have tried detangler sprays and they don't work and leave a gross residue behind. I have also tried special shampoos, conditioners and brushes and nothing has worked.

I recently found the answer to our prayers! It's called the Knot Genie Detangler Brush.

About Knot Genie-
The magic trick behind the Knot Genie™ is one we are happy to reveal. It all has to do with the different lengths of teeth on the brush. When brushing, they bend just right, to gently untangle the hair. And because of this lack of stress, the hair's cuticle stays unharmed... revealing the smoothest, shiniest hair you've ever seen.

My Thoughts-
I admit that I was VERY skeptical about this brush. I saw all of the information on the Knot Genie website and thought it was too good to be true and there was no way it would work on my daughter. I couldn't have been more wrong!

At first, my daughter wanted nothing to do with it because I have told her in the past with other products "Let's try this and it won't hurt", only to be called a liar because it did end up hurting. After convincing her to let me try it, we were both shocked!
My daughters wet and tangled hair after her bath

For the first time in years, she didn't cry or complain at all while I brushed her hair. No more of that awful sound when you brush and it just rips clumps out! *CRINGE* You know the sound I am talking about!
My daughters wet hair after using the Knot Genie

I found the brush extremely easy to use. It just glided right through her hair. I was shocked that there was little to no hair in the brush after using it. This was because it doesn't rip and pull hair out.
My daughters dry hair after using Knot Genie both when wet and again after it had dried

I would highly recommend this brush to anyone who has to fight with their child in order to get their hair brushed, especially parents of children with Autism or sensory issues.

This is going to sound stupid, but what is a raffle copter widget?
I scanned the side bar and I don't see one.

ok I have to admit I cannot read instructions and thought you wanted the color and who I would use it for info in a comment so I didn't put it in the right place. I am putting it here now and hope that's ok...I would pick blue and it would be for us because I have 3 girls with long thick hair.

My daughter said she loves the "Poof of Purple" I would love to win this for my daughter since I can hardly ever do anything to her hair because it hurts her so bad!! This would be great with school starting back would relieve alot of stress!! I think she'd let me do anything to her hair then besides just the hair down and pony tail!
