Pretzel Crisps Review

I am a big snacker. I love chips and popcorn. However, I am not big on pretzels. I was intrigued by the concept of Pretzel Crisps though and wanted to sample them.

Pretzel Crisps are thin, crunchy pretzel crackers. They contain no trans fats, no saturated fat and no cholesterol.Whether you like them plain, dipped or paired up with your favorite toppings, you will enjoy this wholesome snack. One bite and you will rethink your pretzel!

I was sent 5 varieties to sample for review purposes.

Garlic Parmesan-Just the right combination of garlic and parmesan cheese. These were my favorite of the 5 varieties. The flavors were not overly strong and not overpowering, which was great.

Original-This variety would offer the most versatility of the 5 I reviewed. Combine with salsa, peanut butter, chili, cheese or your favorite dip. These were not my favorite only because they were too plain tasting and tasted too much like regular pretzels which I don't care for. Next time, I will try pairing up with salsa or hummus.

Everything-Sprinkled generously with poppy seeds, sesame seeds, onions and garlic with just a pinch of salt, more than lives up to its name. I really enjoyed this variety. I think they tasted just like an everything bagel and the flavors complemented each other wonderfully. None of the flavors overpowered the others at all.

Sesame-These are lightly toasted to bring out the sesame seed’s essential oils, adding a healthy kick to Pretzel Crisps®’ delicious crunch. Sesame seeds are naturally rich in iron, magnesium, manganese, copper, calcium, vitamin B1, E and a good source of lignans (phytoestrogens with antioxidant and anti-cancer properties). My daughter and I really liked these as well. In fact, they were my daughters favorite.

Buffalo Wing-I personally did not care for this variety at all. They were not as hot as I thought they might be but I just don't care for buffalo wing flavoring. Maybe they might have been better paired up with some ranch dip or cheese spread. My daughter didn't like them either. She said they were too hot.

Overall-I think these are perfect for a just because snack either plain or paired up with other items. I could see these served at a party with dips, salsa, cheeses, celery, hummus etc on the side for dipping. They did make me rethink my pretzel and I will be buying these again. I will also be on the look out for some of their other varieties.

Connect-You can connect with Pretzel Crisps on Facebook, on Twitter or you can visit them at their website.

Purchase-Pretzel Crisps are available for purchase at most grocery stores across the US. They retail for about $3.49 per bag.

Disclosure: I was provided with a sample in order to facilitate a review. No other compensation was received. All opinions were honest and my own.

I love plain pretzels, so I'm definitely checking these out - they sound like they would be perfect for snacking at my desk (which is where I snack the most). I know you said you didn't love the buffalo flavor, but did they actually taste like buffalo wings or were they just spicy and labeled "buffalo"?
