Teas' Tea Review

Did you know that the tradition of "Drinking Tea" to maintain good health dates back to early Buddhist texts and Chinese manuals on healing herbs? Camellia Sinensis (the tea plant) is described as being a potent medicine to promote good health and longevity.

An array of studies have shown correlations between green tea and good cardio health & blood circulation, maintenance of healthy cholesterol levels, improvement of brain function, an aid in healthy weight maintenance and alleviation of obesity, a contributing factor to good oral health, immune system boost and more - a long list of positive health implications.

Green tea has potent antiviral and antibacterial properties. The tea polyphenols are strong antioxidants - catechin being the strongest property, and often referred to as EGCG. Research has shown that Catechins may help cancer and tumor prevention, along with preventing a multitude of aliments.

I always knew tea was a healthy option but had no idea it was THAT healthy and had all of those benefits, wow!

I was recently asked to review some tea from Teas' Tea. I received 2 bottles of their tea for review.

About Teas' Tea
To us here at TEAS' TEA and ITO EN, Drinking Right is as important of a message as Eating Right.  TEAS' TEA is a authentically brewed and bottled green tea product range in three categories
1. UNSWEETENED
2. LOW CALORIE (lightly sweetened)
3. CLASSIC (sweetened).

TEAS' TEA is premium tea. Authentically brewed. GMO free. All-Natural with natural cane sugars. No artificial flavorings.

I received 2 bottles: 1 Jasmine Green Tea which is unsweetened and 1 bottle of Mango Oolong Tea which is lightly sweetened. I love love love that they use plastic bottles for their teas because most other tea companies use glass. Glass bottles are okay but lets face it, glass can be dangerous when dropped.

While I did enjoy the Jasmine Green Tea, it just wasn't sweet enough for my personal taste. Obviously, this was because it's an unsweetened tea. The bottle is a generous 16.9 ounce size and has zero calories! I hate drinking beverages with calories so this is a great perk.

The Mango Oolong Tea was much more my type of drink. The mango flavor was wonderful and worked well with the tea flavor. It was perfectly sweetened without being overly sweet. Again, a 16.9 ounce bottle and contains 40 calories per serving. The bottle is 2 servings so 80 calories for the entire bottle. Not super bad calorie wise but I could see myself drinking a few of these per day and those calories would add up quickly.

You can purchase Teas' Tea at many grocery stores in the US including Wegman's and Whole Foods. You can also visit their website below to purchase.
