AdoraPet Children's Books Review

My daughter loves to read books so I happily accepted to review an upcoming line of children's books.

AdoraPet books were founded by YiShaun Yang when she was working as an attorney. As she was filming a documentary for kids showing puppies playing, she realized that her passion is nourishing happy minds and developing new ways for kids to see and safely experience the world by creating children's products that inspire kids to read, play, dream and discover.

YiShaun created Pima Puppy and Pico Puppy as the embodiment, natural curiosity, imagination and sense of adventure. Pima and Pico are a little girl puppy and boy puppy who love going on adventures and sharing them with your child through their themed books and dress-up toy outfits.

AdoraPet offers 8 book titles including:

Astronaut Adventure
Visit the Dentist
On The Farm
Firefighter Adventure
Mermaid Adventure
Pirate Adventure

YiShaun sent us 2 different AdoraPet books for review, Ballerina and Mermaid Adventure. The books are generally meant for children ages 2-6 and I would agree with this age range. My daughter is 6 and enjoyed the books a lot. She learned lots of facts from each book including what a ballerina wears and how mermaids swim underwater. I love when books are fun and easy to read but also educational. I can't wait to check out some of the other AdoraPet books when they are released in November 2011.

The size of the AdoraPet books are perfect for little hands to hold and read because they are 4.5" x 4.5". They are also great to take in a purse or diaper bag due to their smaller design. The books are hardback and will be $5.95 each.

To celebrate the November launch of the book series, YiShaun is hosting a giveaway on She is giving away one book per day for the rest of the year as well as giving away one $100 Barnes & Noble gift card.
