Nutrisystem Week 1 #NSNation

I received my Nutrisystem shelf stable order last Thursday and was excited to start. I started the plan last Friday morning. I weighed myself last Friday morning before starting and weighed 337 lbs even. This Monday, I received my frozen items from Nutrisystem as well. Nutrisystem also sent me a water bottle that holds 32 ounces of water and you are supposed to drink at leave 2 full bottles per day.

Following the plan couldn't be easier. I was worried that I would be hungry all day or that it would be hard to follow. That hasn't been the case at all. In fact, there have been times I have checked the clock and noticed it was lunch time and had to force myself to eat lunch because I wasn't really super hungry. That's totally a different feeling than I am used to.

Even after only 1 week, I have begun to realize what it feels like to actually be hungry and not to eat just for the sake of eating or when I am bored or stressed out. I now view eating my meals in a different light. This is huge for me.

There were a few days where I know I didn't drink 64 ounces or more of water and I don't know if that hurt my loss for the week or not. I am going to make a big effort into drinking all of my water for this coming week though.

So how does the food taste? After all, what good is a diet if you can't stick to it because the food doesn't taste good, right?

I have enjoyed every meal on the plan this week except for one. I did eat it and it was okay but not sure if I would order it again. It was the Meatloaf and mashed potatoes. The meatloaf part of it was fine but the mashed potatoes had a funny texture that I didn't really find appealing.

Some of my most favorite meals were the french toast, carrot cake, blueberry muffin, thin mint crisp bar, mexican tortilla soup, glazed chicken tenders and the ham and cheese omelet.

So how much weight did I lose this week? 6.2 lbs!

My current weight is now 330.8.

Check back next week to see how I did!
