Nutrisystem Week 14! #NSNation

I've now been on the Nutrisystem weight loss program for 14 weeks. I say this a lot but I cannot believe I have stuck with a weight loss program for this long. With Nutrisystem, it never seems like a diet and I tend not to use that word. It's just become a way of life for me at this point. The number one question I get about the program is: Is the food really that good?

Answer: I will be honest and say this: I have not liked every single food I have tried on the plan but I think that's to be expected with any plan. The first few months on the plan, I attempted to try just about every single food there was available so I could figure out what I liked the best. Not only that, but some foods seem more filling than others so I am now trying to stick with those. The more filled up I am after a meal, the better in my mind.

Some of the new foods that Nutrisystem has just released have been the honey wheat bagel, chocolate frosted donut, chicken tacos(frozen), burrito(frozen) and mini chocolate chip cookies.

The bagel is a good size which is good. I toast mine and put some cream cheese on it. Very satisfying.

The chocolate frosted donut is also a great size. If you're expecting a sweet donut, this is not what you're going to enjoy. I did enjoy the donut as it was a cake like donut with the chocolate frosting but it's not overly sweet at all.

The frozen burrito and chicken taco lunch items were yummy but I was caught off guard with the amount of spice. They are pretty spicy, heat wise. Once I got used to the spice, they were excellent.

The mini chocolate chip cookies are very good. You get a good amount of them in the package too. They are not overly sweet at all but in my opinion, it's better than having no chocolate chip cookies :)

This week was a great week as far as the plan goes which resulted in a LOSS! YAY!

Last weeks weight: 316.6
This weeks weight: 315.6
Loss for the week: 1lb

Total loss in 14 weeks: 21.4 lbs

I admit I was getting a little frustrated over the past few weeks with no losses and gaining so it's great to see a loss this week.

Check in next week for my weekly update :)

Disclosure: Nutrisystem is providing their food and program to me free of charge in exchange for blogging about my experience as part of the Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program. The opinions are my own and others experiences with Nutrisystem may vary.

Congrats on your weight loss. Don't let those times get you down when you struggle a bit. I lost over 110.lbs about 20 yrs ago slowly and surely. I kept the bulk of it all off and its the way to go.
