Baby Bullet Review & Giveaway Ends 4/30

My daughter is 7 years old but when she was a baby, it never ocurred to me to make my own baby food. I bought the jarred foods and never gave it another thought. Looking back, I wish I had made my own because it would have been cheaper.

Eventhough my 'baby' is 7, I recently had the chance to review the Baby Bullet system. The system is BPA free and comes with everything you need to make and store your baby food quickly and easily.

It comes with a batchbowl and a short cup. The batchbowl is great for larger jobs like making enough baby food for the entire week, while the short cup is great for just one or two meals.

It's amazingly easy to use too. Just load up the batchbowl with any fruit or veggie (or a combo of both), put the lid on, place it on the power base and push down. In a few seconds, your food is pureed.  What's more, the entire system (excluding the power base) is dishwasher safe. This means EASY clean up!

Storage is a breeze too. The system comes with a sto…

Nutrisystem Week 22! #NSNation

Image
This weeks Nutrisystem blog post is a couple days late. I don't have any excuse other than it just slipped my mind. Anyhow, I have completed 22 weeks on the plan and still going strong. The weather was beautiful so it certainly helped me to get out of the house. My daughter and I went for walks, to the park and just enjoyed the outdoors.

If you have any doubts about how the food tastes on Nutrisystem, listen to this:

My 7 year old will eat it. I know children shouldn't really eat these foods but my daughter loves the cheese puffs, buttered popcorn, ice cream cups and a few other things. She knows it's my diet food but she says she likes it too and my daughter is one picky child! Trust me!

If you are struggling to lose weight, try Nutrisystem. It works!

This weeks weight: 310.9

Silk Fruit & Protein Review & Giveaway Ends 4/20

Image
I will admit that the idea of drinking soy milk just makes my stomach turn so when I was approached to review the new Silk Fruit & Protein drinks, I wasn't sure about it. I decided to go ahead.

Before being contacted about this review, I hadn't yet heard of these drinks. There are 3 different varieties(Mixed Berry, Mango Peach and Strawberry Banana) and they come in a quart or half gallon size container depending on where you purchase them. The half gallon size is only available at Wal-Mart stores.

After getting all 3 varieties home, again I will admit that it took me a couple of days to even get the courage to try one. Yes, that's how afraid of soy milk type products I am. I was shocked when I did finally try them. I couldn't tell they were soy at all and to me they just tasted like a runny smoothie or drinkable yogurt type product. I loved the Mixed Berry variety the most. I wasn't a fan of the Strawberry Banana but I normally don't like Strawberry Banan…

Rock 'N Learn "Letter Sounds" DVD Review & Giveaway! Ends 4/20

Image
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Mom Blog Society. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. “Rock ‘N Learn began as an idea that would help children learn by putting educational material to music with a current sound — the kind of music that kids enjoy and find motivating.  Rock ‘N Learn programs help students learn math, phonics, reading , early childhood, social studies, Spanish, test-taking strategies, writing, and science.  The DVDs incorporate music with exciting, colorful imagery.  Rock ‘N Learn programs have received numerous awards and they will continue to develop quality audio and video programs that hold interest and help kids learn.

I was recently sent the "Letter Sounds" DVD from Rock 'N Learn for review. I was excited to be able to experience a Rock 'N Learn DVD with my daughter because we never have seen one before. "Letter Sounds" …

Picasso Cruelty-Free Feather Hair Extentions Review!

Image
I recently had the chance to review Picasso Feather Hair Extentions. I was so excited!

About Picasso Feather Hair Extentions (from their website)
Picasso Hair Feathers is a premium-line of Cruelty-Free Feather Hair Extensions. The majority of feather extensions on the market are the result of overt brutality and the slaughter of thousands of roosters. This is done in the name of fashion and most customers are typically oblivious to the consequence of their purchases. Picasso Hair Feathers are cruelty-free and designed specifically to improve the look, feel, and experience when wearing a feather hair extension.

Our feathers are kink-free, guaranteed 14" long, the application is quick and easy, and our prices are well below any animal feather retailer. REVIEW I chose the Breaking Dawn set, a beautiful collection of blues and purples. I was a bit intimidated about being able to apply these. Just follow these steps and you're done: 1. Take a small section of hair, above your crown…

Natural House Probiotic Natural Household Cleaning Products Review & Giveaway Ends 4/5

Image
I hate to clean. I will be the first to admit that and have admitted that in the past on my blog. I hate how harsh many cleaners are and how terrible they smell. Let's not forget how unsafe they are for children and pets too.
I recently had the chance to review some products from Natural House. They have a revolutionary probiotic cleaning line. All of their products are phosphate/APE free, are eco-friendly, non-toxic and biodegradable.
I received Flushy, Trashy and Sinky to review.

Flushy is a toilet bowl cleaner and septic system treatment all in one. Cuts stains, hard water and calcium deposits in your toilet as well as the probiotics consume toilet paper and waste build up in the pipes, helping to maintain a healthy septic. Simply take a packet and drop into the toilet. Watch the foam action get to work for about 10 seconds and then scrub. When finished scrubbing, simply flush and you're done. I found this product to work fabulously. It cleaned my toilet really well, didn&…

Nutrisystem Week 21! #NSNation

Image
I just completed week 21 on Nutrisystem and feel better than ever. My attitude has been super positive as of lately and I believe that has been helping. The weather here in PA has been gorgeous for the past week with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s. This has prompted me to get out more this week and walk.

I am a firm believer that when you are mentally positive that positive things will happen. With my new mindset, it's been a bit easier to stay on track with the walking, drinking water and following the plan.

I admit that I had a few goodies this week which I thought would hurt me at the end of the week. I had some chips and cookies at a friends house a few times. However, I did it and moved on.

I was shocked to get on the scale and see that I lost more weight.

Last weeks weight: 311.8

This weeks weight: 311.4

Total loss this week: .4lbs

Total weight loss in 21 weeks:  25.6lbs

Let's hope that this positive attitude I have been having lately continues.. :)

Nutrisystem Week 20! #NSNation

Image
I have completed 20 weeks on Nutrisystem and it feels great! This past week was an excellent week for me. I have been eating lots of my favorite and most filling Nutrisystem meals which has been helping a lot. I have been exercising a lot more than I was previously because I felt like my weight loss had sort of slowed too much. I have been going for long walks with a friend of mine. It's been difficult because I've not exercised in years and now I have been walking long distances with her. Yes, I get winded and need to stop for breaks sometimes but overall, I am rocking it and feel better afterwards. I think the exercise has helped move the scale again because....
