Enjoy Hair Care Review & Giveaway! Ends 4/5

My hair is very important to me. It must look good or I don't feel like I am looking my best. In order to get my hair looking and feeling great, I like using high quality products. So when the chance to review a few products from Enjoy Hair Care, I was thrilled.

I received a bottle of Enjoy Sulfate-Free  Hydrating Shampoo, Enjoy Hydrating Conditioner and a bottle of Enjoy Straightener.

Shampoo-Low pH of 4/5-5.5, great for dry, coarse chemically processed or overly curly hair.

Conditioner-Low pH of 3.5-4.5, great for dry, coarse, chemically processed or overly curly hair.

Straightener-Straighten and control coarse or curly hair. Leaves hair feeling soft and smooth. Works on even the most difficult hair without building up.

Why is pH in a shampoo and/or conditioner important? I had no idea pH levels were such an issue in shampoos and conditioners until receiving the Enjoy products to review. I did some research about it and came to the conclusion that a lower pH level protects hair cuticles, leaves hair more manageable and can help protect hair color from fading.

It's no wonder many shampoo and conditioners I have used in the past made my hair feel like straw after using them even when they claimed to be a hydrating formula!

I have been using the Enjoy shampoo and conditioner for a couple weeks now and I can definitely tell a difference. My hair is more manageable and just feels much more healthy.

The shampoo and conditioner both are thick and rich so you don't need to use a lot. Less is more in this case. Both lather up well and rinse out easily as well. They are lightly scented with a very nice fragrance that isn't overpowering at all.

The Straightener product is used after shampoo and conditioner. You then apply a generous amount of product throughout damp hair. Brush hair straight while blow drying and style as usual. I only used this product once because I don't usually brush my hair straight while using a blow dryer. I usually let my hair air dry and then flat iron it. I did use it once the way it was recommended for review purposes and honestly, I wasn't impressed. I don't know if I used too much product or not enough. They said use a generous amount but didn't indicate how much that might be, like say the size of a quarter etc. So while I used a generous amount, brushed my hair straight while blow drying, I found the product left a residue in my hair and didn't leave my hair nice, straight and smooth like when using my flat iron. Like I said, this could have been MY error and not the product.

While I had issues with the Straightener product, I loved the shampoo and conditioner from Enjoy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend these products to anyone.
