Picasso Cruelty-Free Feather Hair Extentions Review!

I recently had the chance to review Picasso Feather Hair Extentions. I was so excited!

About Picasso Feather Hair Extentions (from their website)

Picasso Hair Feathers is a premium-line of Cruelty-Free Feather Hair Extensions. The majority of feather extensions on the market are the result of overt brutality and the slaughter of thousands of roosters. This is done in the name of fashion and most customers are typically oblivious to the consequence of their purchases.
Picasso Hair Feathers are cruelty-free and designed specifically to improve the look, feel, and experience when wearing a feather hair extension.

Our feathers are kink-free, guaranteed 14" long, the application is quick and easy, and our prices are well below any animal feather retailer.
I chose the Breaking Dawn set, a beautiful collection of blues and purples.
I was a bit intimidated about being able to apply these. Just follow these steps and you're done:
1. Take a small section of hair, above your crown and clip it to the top of your head.
2. Take a strand of hair about the same thickness as one of the hair feathers.
3. Thread your hair through the clear loop attached to the end of the extention.
4. Pull the end of the loop through the attached micro-ring. You will pull the plastic loop out of the ring, and this will thread your natural hair through the micro-ring.
5. Continue to pull the plastic loop and your hair through the micro-ring until the loop is no longer inside. Slide your hair feather to your head.
6. Using pliers, squeeze the micro-ring flat so that it will lay flat against your head.
You're done! Honestly, the directions make it sound much more complicated than it really is and they literally take about a minute to apply.
I tested these on myself, my best friend who is 33, and her two children (ages 11 and 7). My daughter didn't want anything to do with these as she's very picky about her hair. Anyway, we all have different hair types and colors and the hair feather extentions were easy to apply to each of us. I was surprised to learn that you can treat these like regular hair as far as washing them and styling them. There were no issues with washing them from anyone and my best friend said she had no issues when she used a flat iron. We have had them in our hair for about a week and a half and only one of the children had an issue. My friends 11 year old kept messing with hers so it's beginning to come loose.
I would highly recommend these to anyone! Picasso has directions on how to apply on their website. If that's not helpful enough, there is also a video about how to apply. These would be especially great for children as they are not something permanent. The cost is also another reason why I recommend these. They are much cheaper than going to the salon!
Buy It: You can purchase these at the Picasso website starting at $19.95 for a 5 pack. They also have 12 and 24 packs in various color choices.
Connect with Picasso: Facebook, Twitter or on their blog.
Disclosure: I received complementary samples in order to facilitate a review. No other compensation was received. All opinions were honest and my own.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
