Gorton's Seafood Review & Giveaway Ends 5/4!

When you hear the name Gorton's, what do you think of? The first thing that comes to my mind is fish sticks eventhough I am aware they make much more than just those. Gorton's has been around since 1849 so I think by now that they know what they are doing when it comes to seafood.

I was sent 2 free product coupons so I could purchase 2 Gorton's seafood item for review purposes. I chose Breaded Fish Fillets and Shrimp Poppers. I admit that I am not a huge seafood lover. I just dislike the strong taste of fish and seafood but I do enjoy some. The Breaded Fish Fillets are always a great choice for me. Made in the oven, they get extra crisp on the outside. Fish fillets are super versatile too. You can make them plain, use them in recipes or simply make a fish sandwich out of them. I really like these because the taste of fish isn't overly strong. I used these to make fish sandwiches and also made them plain with some french fries.

The other product I picked up was the Shrimp Poppers. I picked these up mostly for my daughter as she loves them. I don't think she entirely knows that it's seafood but hey, she eats them so who am I to tell her? I made a batch in the oven and breading gets nice and crispy. On the inside, the shrimp stays tender and flavorful. The shrimp flavor isn't overwhelming which is why I like them.
