Smoobee, The Magic No Cry Brush for Children Review & Giveaway! Ends 7/10

My daughter has sensory issues that stem from her Autism. This includes being VERY sensitive about her hair being brushed. I have purchased so many so called "magic" brushes and while they do work somewhat, they don't seem to be able to brush through many layers of hair at once. Because of this, she would often have "nice" hair on top but underneath, a complete knotty mess. To brush all of it, would take a very long time and it would become exhausting! So between my daughter crying that it hurts because her hair gets into big knots and a mangled mess in 2.1 seconds from just breathing and her crying because I am taking too long, I had begun to lose all hope. That is, until I saw an ad online for the Smoobee No Cry Magic Brush. Could it be what I was searching for all along??

I contacted Smoobee to see if I could do a product review of the brush and they happily agreed.

When it arrived, I noticed that it had a nice handle on it unlike some other "magic" brushes I have used in the past. I need a good grip when brushing my daughters hair. The second thing I noticed was that there were two types of bristles. 

I called my daughter over and told her that her new "magic" brush had arrived, to which she replied "is it going to hurt like the other ones?" I told her it wouldn't hurt so I was hoping for the best!

I brushed out her hair, knots and all, with no issues whatsoever. I was done quickly and when I told her that I was finished, her reply was "wow, that didn't hurt at all, mommy!"

It glides right through her hair and easily through the knots and tangles in her hair. The Smoobee brush has been a true blessing in my home. Not only does it reduce the actual brushing time, my daughter doesn't cry or complain at hair brushing time anymore whatsoever. It even works beautifully on her wet hair after a bath.

Prior to the Smoobee, I was considering taking my daughter to get her hair cut short to reduce the tantrums and the fighting over hair brushing. Now, I have absolutely no reason to get her hair cut at all and in fact, since using the Smoobee, her hair is looking more shiny and healthy than it's ever been!

I seriously cannot say enough great things about this brush. If you have children, you NEED one of these, especially if you have a child(ren) with special needs and/or sensory issues relating to their hair.

As an additional plus, Smoobee offers gem stickers for children to bedazzle their brushes for a custom look. My daughter thought it was so fun to create a custom looking hair brush with the gem stickers. She's so proud of "her" brush that when I try to use it on my hair, she gets upset! :)
