Lehigh Valley Dairy Products Review

Whole Milk

When the opportunity came along to review a product or two from Lehigh Valley Dairy, I admit I hesitated. I hesitated because well it's milk and in my mind, all milk pretty much tastes the same. Or so I thought..

I did end up agreeing to the review.

Lehigh Valley 5-Point Purity Checklist

1. Our farmers pledge not to use artificial growth hormones
2. Milk from cows fed a nutritious diet
3. We reject any milk that contains commonly used antibiotics
4. Tested for quality at every key step
5. Cold shipped from dairy to store within hours

Did you know that light changes the taste of milk and degrade it's nutrition and vitamins? I sure didn't! Lehigh Valley now offers Pure Protect Bottles. This innovation helps protect milk's purity, taste and nutrition from the harmful effects of light.

I went and picked up a gallon of Lehigh Valley milk for the review. It looked the same as other milks, poured the same as others etc. The first time I tried some was for on cereal. It must be the Pure Protect Bottle because it was the freshest tasting milk I have ever had. I am one of those people who will search every bottle in the supermarket for the bottle of milk with the longest sell by date just so I can get the "freshest" bottle. No more needing to do that with Lehigh Valley. From the time I opened the gallon, until it was finished, it was extremely fresh tasting.

SWEEPSTAKES
From now until Labor Day, Lehigh Valley is giving away a $100 grocery card every week. Simply visit their Facebook page and click "Like" and fill out the required information to enter.

Disclosure: I received a complementary sample in order to facilitate a review. No other compensation was received. All opinions were honest and my own.
