Yala Designs recently sent me a few of their organic cotton hand towels and wash cloths to try out and review. I was giddy with excitement because I have never tried organic cotton towels or wash cloths before.

If you're not familiar with Yala Designs, they are a completely green company that sells eco-friendly and organic bedding, towels, clothing for women and children plus more!

I received the organic cotton hand towels and wash cloths in the color ivory. A perfect color for just about any bathroom. I love the way these were packaged with an information card on top.

Both the hand towels and wash cloths are 100% organic cotton and made in India. The hand towels are 16" x 30" while the wash cloths are 13" x 13". Both are the perfect size. The attention to detail around the edges is fabulous. 

I only use wash cloths for washing my face because I use a loofa in the shower. That being said, I found these wash cloths to be a lot more gentle on my face. They were softer than my other wash cloths and seemed to absorb water much better.

I placed 2 hand towels in each of my 2 bathrooms. They were also a bit more gentle on my hands than my other hand towels that I had been using. After washing my hands, they absorb more water much more quickly as well. This is important to be both for myself and for my daughter. I don't want to spend forever trying to get my hands dried after washing. For my daughter because she hated to wash her hands because it used to take forever to get her hands dried. With these hand towels, she doesn't mind at all. She likes them because they are softer.

Both are machine washable which is great!
