Batiste Dry Shampoo Review

I love dry shampoos. There...I said it! While I do shower daily, I do not wash my hair every day. I wash my hair about every 2-3 days. This is why dry shampoo is a staple item in my home. I love being able to just use some dry shampoo in the morning and make my hair look like I just washed it. Dry shampoos remove excess grease and make your hair look and feel clean in between washes.

I was recently given the chance to try Batiste Dry Shampoo and I chose the Floral and Flirty Blush variety. I had heard of the brand and seen it talked about by other bloggers and such but had never tried it. I am glad I got the chance because it seems to work better than the other brand I was using.

What makes Batiste Dry Shampoo different?

Batiste uses rice starch instead of corn starch and Batiste is very light-weight and doesn't weight down your hair at all and in fact, can add volume. I have heard of some people with very thin hair using dry shampoos solely for the purpose of adding some volume.

How to Use

Shake can very well

Keep nozzle 30cm from hair, spray into roots

Massage through with fingertips

Brush and style

That's it!!

Since using the Batiste, I notice that my hair isn't as weighed down with product. The other dry shampoo I was using weighed my hair down a lot. The scent of the floral and flirty variety isn't overpowering, doesn't linger in the air or in your hair too much and smells just like it says: Floral. If Floral isn't your thing, they have other varieties.

I have also noticed that my hair is much easier to style after using it and my roots don't become quite as oily as quickly either. The other brand, it was rather difficult sometimes to style my hair the way I wanted and after a few hours, my hair and roots were oily again.

Aside from just using Batiste as a dry shampoo on non hair washing days, there are other times when it would be useful as well. After a workout at the gym when you don't have time to shower or don't want to shower and have wet hair, after swimming, you woke up late for work or an appointment and don't have time to wash your hair. Possibilities are pretty endless.

I would highly recommend Batiste Dry Shampoo to anyone especially those who don't like washing their hair every single day but want to look like they do.

Batiste Dry Shampoo runs about $7.99 for a can and can be found for purchase HERE.
