Not that long ago, I bought the Xbox One S console as a family gift for both myself and my daughter to play games. Her and I both love to play video games and there were many games that I was interested in playing that were not available on the console that we already had. I recently received a download code for a new game called Moto Racer 4 for Xbox One. The idea of a motorcycle racing game that was family friendly really appealed to me.

The game is rated E for everyone so there is nothing inappropriate in the game so it's suitable for everyone of all ages to play. The download did take awhile to download but after it was finished download, we were able to play.

The first thing that both my daughter and I noticed was that setting up a game to play was relatively quick and easy. We also noticed that while there are many controls and buttons on the XBox One controller, playing the game was not difficult. The controls for the game were simple. There is virtually no learning curve with this game which makes it great especially for children.

There are a few different modes of play. There is a career mode in which you can work towards building a career racer in the game. You can also just play quick games of one race or multiple races in championship mode. Players can play solo or multiplayer action is also an option. With the multiplayer, the screen is split so that you can race at the same time. I like this feature because with some games, you have to take turns in multiple player games. This game allows multiple players to race each other in real time. When you first start, you are only given a choice of 3 characters to play as. As you progress in the game, more options are unlocked. You can race on tracks of dirt or even asphalt.

My daughter and I both love this game. It is a face paced game and reminds me a lot of a motorcycle racing arcade game. I love that her and I can play a game together without any inappropriate language or graphic content of any kind. Yes, you can run into cars and other things but it merely restarts your character where you were at and does not show any blood or gore.

The game will be available for purchase January 24, 2017, for the Xbox One and PS4 and will have a MSRP of $39.99.

GIVEAWAY

The sponsor has offered a couple of game download codes (NOT physical copies of the game) to my readers in a giveaway. This giveaway will run a little bit different from others so please be careful when entering.

There will be 2 Giveaway Tools widgets placed below for entry. One will be to win 1 of 2 XBox One game downloads and one will be to win 1 of 2 PS4 game downloads. I thought this would be better than simply one widget because I won't know who is entering for one console or the other.

You must be 18 or older and live in the US in order to enter. Giveaway ends February 3rd, 2017 at 11:59 pm eastern time. 4 Winners (2 for XBox One and 2 for PS4) will be drawn and emailed. Winners will have 48 hours to respond or another winner(s) will be drawn.
